Post Natal
Exercise can be resumed 6 weeks after a natural vaginal, uncomplicated birth (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, 1994, ‘Exercise during pregnancy and the post partum Period)
However, as all mothers know it can be difficult and a life changing time. Regular structured activity can be low on the list of priorities however new mothers can benefit from exercise in many ways including weight loss, improved image, increased energy and stamina levels and increased self confidence.
We are not only experienced and knowledgeable in providing ‘Post Natal’ training but we also believe that it is important to gain an understanding of your ‘birthing experience’ and adapt your training accordingly. It may be appropriate to check with your GP before embarking on exercise in the post partum period
We also appreciate that finding the time can be difficult and therefore we offer a personal training service from 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday. You might like to consider training with other new mothers that you have met to help motivate each other in achieving your goals.
